As part of our international expansion plans, we are looking for a Business Development Manager to work in our new Tokyo office.
The candidate must be a driven individual who possesses a confident flair for business presentations and is ever ready to win deals. As a representative of the company, he/she consistently exudes the highest level of professionalism and should have excellent communication and teamwork skills
Qualifications:
• At least 3 years experience in professional selling and account servicing in advertising, media and/or service industries. Those with experience working in a video production environment will have an advantage.
• Minimum University degree
• Language skill: Native Japanese who is fluent in English

The primary responsibilities of the FAE includes but not limited to the following:
1 Lead application effort to drive solution-sale approach to Low Voltage or Medium Voltage Protection market;
2. Provide day to day technical support to Japan sales team for Low Voltage or Medium Voltage product lines;
3. Manage project review process through working with Bussmann global application team based in Europe, US and China to drive home our solutions to customers;
4. Analyze the target markets, applications and industrial as well as technology trends to explore business growth potentials and new opportunities;
5. Prepare marketing collateral tools (solution sale package, application brochure, articles, etc.);
6. Provide seminar & training on product applications to customers, consultants/design institutes, distributors, and sales team.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor degree or above in Electrical Engineering or related educatonal backgrounds;
2. Minimum 5 years work experience in product marketing or technical application or design of Electrical Equipment and/or Components, practical experience in Fuse protection will be preferred
3. Good understanding to OEM sales and the Applications of power conversion equipment, such as Drives, UPS, Wind Mill, Rectifiers, Tractions, IGBT and so on;
4. Ability to communicate in verbal English. Fluent in both oral and written English;
5. Computer skills: MS Office, Excel, and drawing designs by AutoCAD will be a plus
6. Be willing to travel throughout Japan and beyond;
7. Perform with limited supervision;
8. Prefered work experience with Ferraz-Shawmut, Little Fuse, Siba, Toshiba, Fujitsu, Siemens, ABB, etc, related to fuse technologies and applications;
9. Chinese language skills is a plus;
